John Kocmur, President, has been active in the commercial real estate industry for more than 25 years, developing, acquiring and managing residential, office, industrial and retail properties.

In 1986, John founded Janez Properties in order to provide a broad range of investment and property management services to a select group of private and institutional investors. Under John's leadership, Janez Properties has acquired and developed a commercial portfolio valued at more than $300 million and has built a successful track record in providing property management services. John has developed, managed and sold numerous residential apartment, condominium and single family projects throughout Southern California, and currently manages over 700 apartment units.

Prior to forming Janez Properties and its affiliates, John served as President of AROSA Development and Management, Inc., an Orange County, CA-based real estate development and management firm with European ownership. He also served as Controller, Treasurer and Chief Financial Officer for several development divisions of the international real estate and investment company, Cadillac Fairview.  Early in his career, John served as a Chartered Accountant for Price Waterhouse in Toronto, Canada.

John has a degree in Industrial Engineering from the University of Toronto and earned his certification as a Chartered Accountant.
