Ryan Gilbert, Vice President, Acquisitions
As a member of the acquisitions and investment team, Ryan Gilbert works with established industry contacts to expand the company's acquisition platform. Gilbert brings to Janez extensive industry experience in acquisitions, institutional investments, capital markets and asset management. Prior to joining Janez, Ryan was a member of the Investment Sales Team at San Diego-based Burnham Real Estate where he was responsible for equity placement and institutional investment transactions, participating in more than $200 million in commercial real estate sales in Southern California and Las Vegas.

Ryan's prior industry experience also includes tenure with Precept Corporation and The Dermot Company. At Precept, Ryan served as Managing Director, working with institutional partners such as Morgan Stanley, Citigroup, and Standard and Poors, to efficiently underwrite, originate and distribute commercial mortgage backed securities, qualifying loans and other debt instruments. At The Dermot Company, Ryan served as Vice President of Acquisitions, sourcing multi-family acquisitions totaling more than $180 million.

In joining Janez, Ryan returns to acquisitions work, focusing on the acquisition of institutional quality commercial real estate assets across all product types - office, industrial, R&D, retail and multi-family. A graduate of Loyola Marymount University, Gilbert earned an MBA in Real Estate and Finance from San Diego State University.
