In May 2007, Janez Group acquired two Houston- area office buildings, totaling 400,000 sf, in a joint venture transaction with CB Richard Ellis Investors. Through an affiliate, Houston 333-10700 Investment Group, LLC, Janez purchased the 179,000 sf Tower Park North Office Building, located at 10700 North Freeway. The 10-story office building, built in 1982, is 75 percent leased with 20 tenants, including Countrywide, American Rice, Inc. and Brown and Brown. Grubb and Ellis investment brokers Darrell Betts and Scot Farber represented the seller. CB Richard Ellis serves as leasing agent. Going forward, Janez plans to renovate and reposition the property to keep pace with increasing demand created by Houston’s reinvigorated energy industry and employment growth.
